CVA-260

CVA-260 is a colloidal alumina slurry used for a wide variety of materials including: aluminum, cadmium zinc telluride, gallium arsenide, indium phosphide, nickel, spinel, zinc selenide as well as other ferrous alloys.

Application

It is recommended to use CVA-260 undiluted, but if needed, dilute in CVA-260 in ultra-pure deionized water. CVA-260 should be mixed periodically (10 to 20 min/day). Diluted slurry can settle out of suspension over time causing scratching. It is recommended to not store and reuse diluted slurry. For best results, please consult with UPI technical staff to recommend optimal processing conditions.
