ALPHALAP combines uniform thickness and maximum strength. Constructed with exceptional quality, ALPHALAP fabric consistently produces a uniform finish.

Application

Recommended for final polishes on acrylics, Lucites, Plexiglas, softer crystals and metallurgical samples.

  • Commonly used with aluminum oxide slurry or similar polishing powder (not diamond-based).

Pressure Sensitive Adhesive - When PSA is specified (pressure-sensitive adhesive), a polyester interface with down side adhesive protected by a removable paper, is applied. The bond to the lapping plate remains firm with various polishing vehicles including water, oil, alcohol, and most commonly used slurries, yet removes cleanly when changed.
