Microgrit 18 WCA

Microgrit is an alumina powder developed with a unique particle shape, aspect ratio and size distribution.  Each particle has a discrete crystal of alumina with over 99% purity.  The crystals have a smooth surface and a distinctive platelet shape.  

Application

Dilute Microgrit with water to create slurry. Preferred, but not required, water type is DI or RO water.  Microgrit can also be diluted in lapping oil.  Concentration can vary per operation. For best results, please consult with UPI technical staff to recommend optimal processing conditions.
