TECHNICAL DATA
Hastilite PO
BA0095
Hastilite PO has been designed to meet stringent surface specifications in precision optics fabrication. Because 90% of all particles are below one micron, and a unique high ceria base content, Hastilite PO enables the production of preferred surfaces for softer glasses, and low scatter surfaces on harder glass and ceramic materials. Hastilite PO is compatible with many glass types and ceramics. It is a standard polishing formula for super finish laser optics, leaving low roughness surfaces. Hastilite PO’s versatility in polishing operations addresses high speed polishing needs on a wide variety of polishing systems, including super-polishing, pitch polishing or LP pad polishing. Application
Dilute Hastilite PO within water to create slurry. Preferred, but not required, water type is DI or RO water. Concentration can vary per operation. For best results, please consult with UPI technical staff to recommend optimal processing conditions. Benefits
