Dura Hold
KL16050
DURA HOLD is a solvent free, rapid UV light curable adhesive specifically formulated for use in the blocking and/or temporary holding of precision optics components during manufacturing. DURA HOLD is designed to cure quickly at room temperature when exposed to 365 nm light. DURA HOLD can be used to block or hold optics during generating, grinding and polishing operations, and can be easily removed after processing. Application
DURA HOLD can be cured with a variety of UV light sources ranging from high to low intensity. High intensity UV light sources will cure faster, but are not recommended for use with small lenses. De-blocking is accomplished by soaking blocked workpieces and the fixture in heated 80°C (176°F) detergent and water. Store unused or opened material in a cool dry location. For best results, please consult with UPI technical staff to recommend optimal processing conditions. Benefits
