Optical Powder 125 REG

Optical Powder is specifically designed to be an abrasive that insures fast cutting, uniform, scratch free surfaces on all types of glass.   This powder is precision graded to be exact micron size by water separation processes 0.3 µm to 2.75 µm, the number is equivalent to the particle size (eg 175 is 17.5 µm).  All powder sizes are available in a “ST” version that has suspension treatment.

Application

Dilute in water. Preferred, but not required, water type is DI or RO water.   Concentration can vary per operation. For best results, please consult with UPI technical staff to recommend optimal processing conditions.
