Description
Hastilite Polytron is a water based alpha alumina and polycrystalline diamond slurry used as an effective polishing agent for polishing hard materials to soft delicate crystals, a mechanical polishing formula designed for precise finishes on many materials. Superior surface finishes can be produced on electronic components and parts made of tungsten carbide, silicon carbide, and other structural ceramic materials. When fine diamond is added to nanometer-sizes alpha alumina, a synergy between the two polishing compounds occurs, resulting in slurry, which can polish hard materials efficiently at a fraction of the cost of diamond alone. All slurries are made using highly refined and precision graded diamond powders that have high bulk purity and surface purity. Hastililte Polytron is suitable for recirculatory central slurry systems for improved efficiency and reduction in costs.
