#300 Wafer Mounting Wax (PM0300)

#300 WAFER WAX is a heavy-duty mounting and blocking media for machining, polishing, and dicing, suitable for affixing flat surfaces of work pieces directly to machinable mounts. It has excellent holding power, machines clearly, and will not load or gum up thin cutting blades and wire. #300 WAFER WAX is widely used to mount silicon wafers for dicing, scribing, ultrasonic grinding, back lapping, and polishing. It is used to hold electronic and optical materials where a flat face is to be bonded to the mount.

#30C Crystal Cement Sticks (PM3030B)

#30C CRYSTAL CEMENT is a clear holding cement generally used as an optical adhesive and a blocking or holding media for a wide variety of applications including dicing, polishing, machining, core drilling, etc. Because #30C CRYSTAL CEMENT is semi-clear, it can be used for microscopic sample mounting and lens work where transparency is a factor.

#40 Uni-Wax (PM0040)

#40 Uni-Wax is a heavy-duty mounting and blocking media for machining, polishing, and dicing, suitable for affixing flat surfaces of work pieces directly to machinable mounts (mounting blocks that will be cut into during machining). It has excellent holding power, machines clearly, and will not load or gum up thin cutting blades and wire. However, #40 Uni-Wax is a brittle polymer and should not be used for small area or point contact mounting. It was designed for bonding two flat surfaces.

#430 Spot Block Wax Pitch Bar (PB0043)

#70C Lakeside Dozen Sticks (PM3030C)

#70C Lakeside Cement is a clear holding cement with properties of a thermoplastic material, generally used as an optical adhesive and a blocking or holding media for use in a wide variety of applications.  It ca be used to hold parts, which must be diced, polished, machined, core drilled, etc.  Due to its semi-clear appearance, it can be used for microscopic sample mounting and lens work where transparency is a factor.

Dymerex Polymerized Rosin (PD9025)

Dymerex Polymerized Rosin is a modified rosin that is pale, acidic, and has a high softening point.  It is composed predominantly of dimeric acids derived from rosin with lesser amounts of monomeric resin acids and neutral materials of rosin origin.  

IVORY Refined Beeswax Cakes (OP9069K)

Beeswax is available in 3 grades; commercial, refined, and ivory. Each grade has increasing quality, respectively.   Beeswax is predominately used to make other blocking pitches and waxes less brittle.  

Light Engravers Cement Bar (PM006*)

Light Engravers Cement is a highly adaptable pitch used in a variety of pitch blocking applications.  Light Engravers Cement is specially designed to yield high strength, with ease of use on lenses or precision applications.  

Optical Quality Rosin (PD8005)

OPTICAL QUALITY ROSIN is an excellent non-crystal, ready to use, rosin obtained from pine resin. It leaves a non-volatile, transparent, brittle glassy solid ideal for blocking precision optical lenses. OPTICAL QUALITY ROSIN can be added to any natural polishing pitch to increase the hardness, tack, and friction.

Optical Quality Rosin Low Melt (PD8005L)

Optical Quality Rosin Low Melt is an excellent non-crystalline ready to use rosin obtained from pine resin.  It leaves a non-volatile, transparent, brittle glassy solid ideal for blocking precision optical lenses.   Optical Quality Rosin Low Melt can be added to any natural polishing pitch to increase the hardness, tack, and friction.

Optical Water Soluble Wax (PZ0010C)

Optical Water Soluble Wax is a high quality casting wax specifically formulated for the jewelry industry. Because of its solubility in water, Optical Water Soluble Wax has been proven ideal in many other applications where sensitivity to solvents, such as de-blocking & dissolving natural waxes, is of concern.

Paraffin Wax (OP9052)

Paraffin wax is a semi-hard temporary cement used for a variety of blocking and holding applications.  Paraffin wax is commonly used for blocking together a series of lenses or work pieces that are to be edged or profiled.  Other applications include thin film blocking, blanchard wheel work, spot blocking surface protection and a variety of uses where semi-hard, high tack materials are desired.  

Pure Shellac Sticks Dozen (PS0050)

Shellac Sticks are a hard blocking compound which exhibits high adhesive strength and minimal shifting during processing.  Shellac Sticks are commonly used for blocking together a series of lenses or work pieces that are to be edged or profiled.  Other applications include thin film blocking, Blanchard wheel work, spot blocking, surface protection and a variety of uses where semi-hard, high tack materials are desired.  This material is very viscous when melted and should not be used where a thin film blocking material is desired.
