Description

Pre-Cote is a semi-transparent coating utilized to protect a variety of precision surfaces.  Pre-Cote prevents marring, and protects against dust and dirt contamination.  

Application

Clean the substrate to remove grease and oil.  Apply Pre-Cote by brushing or spraying the surface.  When brushing, apply using full brush strokes.  After application, wait for 10 minutes to a tack-free finish and 24 hours for thorough drying.  Pre-Cote can be removed by peeling, or a polar solvent such as isopropyl alcohol, or acetone.  To clean the nozzle on aerosol cans, soak in acetone or isopropyl alcohol immediately after use.
