Description

RHODES ALUMINA is an ultra-pure smooth platelet shaped crystalline alumina powder. RHODES ALUMINA crystals have exceptional resistance to fracturing which offers advantages over typical fused aluminum oxides. RHODES ALUMINA can be used on a wide variety of applications for surface finishing including: precision optics, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, germanium etc. Also available, is RHODES ALUMINA T that has suspension agents to prevent hard packing and provide different levels of suspension.

Application

Dilute RHODES ALUMINA in water. Preferred, but not required, water type is DI or RO water. Concentration can vary per operation. For best results, please consult with UPI technical staff to recommend optimal processing conditions.
