Description

UNIVERSAL X DEFOAMER is a water soluble silicone emulsion that is designed to control foam in aqueous systems. UNIVERSAL X DEFOAMER is a polishing extender which controls foam associated with most polishing application, and increases slurry polishing efficiency.

Application

Add UNIVERSAL X DEFOAMER within diluted slurry or coolant. Add a few drops per gallon and monitor the status of the foam. In general, the effectiveness of the defoamer is nullified above concentrations of 1%. Concentration can vary per operation. For best results, please consult with UPI technical staff to recommend optimal processing conditions.
